The story:  Located in Brookfall, Massachusetts, the Falcon Academy of Athletics is anything but a typical school. For decades, it has trained generations of champions destined to represent the United States at the Olympic Games. The class of 1984 is particularly promising, with seven young athletes qualified for a national tournament of the highest importance. Those who win will fly to the Olympics. However, a mysterious killer, armed with a javelin, is lurking on campus and students are disappearing one by one.

The film:  At school, did you hate athletes? It's time to take your revenge with Fatal Games, released in France under the title The Games of Death. Completely unreleased on DVD and Blu-ray, this slasher, absolutely typical of the 80s, contains all the codes of the genre: a school setting, nudity, sadistic murders committed by a mysterious killer, all spiced up in a very playful athletic style. And to top it off, it ends with a revelation worthy of Camp Blood. The original negative having been lost, with our friends at Vinegar Syndrome, we managed to find a 35mm interpositive in France, from which we created a new 2K master. The film's music was composed by Shuki Levy. As for the special effects, they bear the mark—or rather the claws—of Wayne Beauchamp (Creature, Children of the Corn, Maniac Cop 2) and Paul Staples (Maniac Cop, The White Ninja).
